Service Delivery: to confirm, manage and carry out your grooming appointments
Communications: to send booking confirmations, reminders, invoices and essential service updates
Improvements & Analytics: to understand how you use the website and improve user experience
Marketing (only if you consent): to send you occasional news, tips and offers

Contractual Necessity: processing your booking and payment information is necessary to fulfil our agreement
Consent: where you have opted in to marketing emails or non-essential cookies

Data Sharing & Third Party Processors
I may share your data with:
Payment Processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal) for secure transaction handling
Appointment Management Software
I use a third party app (e.g. DaySmartPet, Savvy) to schedule and manage all bookings and client records
How it works: I enter your name, contact details, pet information and appointment requests directly into the app - it is not customer facing for you to self book
The software provider processes this data on my behalf under strict confidentiality and is not permitted to use it for their own marketing
Website Analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) to track site performance and improve user experience
Legal or Regulatory Authorities, if required by law
All processors act on my instructions and are bound by data-protection obligations.
Data Retention
Booking & Service Records: retained for up to 7 years (to comply with tax and business records requirements)
Marketing Consents: retained until you withdraw consent
Analytics Data: aggregated or anonymised after 26 months

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
