Service Delivery: to confirm, manage and carry out your grooming appointments

Improvements & Analytics: to understand how you use the website and improve user experience

Marketing (only if you consent): to send you occasional news, tips and offers

Contractual Necessity: processing your booking and payment information is necessary to fulfil our agreement

Data Sharing & Third Party Processors

Payment Processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal)

I use Monzo for business banking and stripe for payment processing where applicable. Relevant payment and transaction information may be processed securely to take payments and maintain financial records

Appointment Management Software

I use a third party app (DaySmartPet) to schedule and manage appointments, client records, pet information and booking communications. Information is processed through this software to help me provide my grooming services

How it works: I enter your name, contact details, pet information and appointment requests directly into the app - it is not customer facing for you to self book

The software provider processes this data on my behalf under strict confidentiality and is not permitted to use it for their own marketing

Website Analytics (Squarespace)

My website is hosted by Squarespace, which provides built in analytics to help me understand website traffic and improve my website

Legal or Regulatory Authorities, if required by law

Personal information may be shared where required by law

Data Retention

Booking & Service Records: personal and pet information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide grooming services, manage client relationships and meet any applicable legal requirements

Financial Records: accounting and transaction records are retained for the periods required by UK tax and company law

Marketing Consents: records of marketing preferences are retained as necessary to manage consent and demonstrate compliance

Analytics Data: analytics information is retained according to the applicable Squarespace settings and retention practices
