Hi, I’m Ashleigh - and I’m the proud founder of Bark, Bath & Beyond Ltd, a mobile dog grooming service covering Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life, but it wasn’t until I trained professionally as a dog groomer that I realised how much I love working with dogs every single day. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of of grooming a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, and coat types, and I’ve learned that no two dogs are the same - so no two grooms should be either.
I started Bark, Bath & Beyond Ltd with a clear goal; to offer kind, calm, one-to-one grooming that puts dogs’ wellbeing first. I work from a fully equipped mobile salon, which means I bring everything right to your doorstep. For nervous dogs, older dogs, or simply busy owners who want a convenient and caring service, this set up takes away the stress of travelling or waiting around in busy salons.
My grooming philosophy is simple; humanity over vanity. I never rush appointments, and I always tailor the experience to suit your dogs individual needs. Whether they’re confident and bouncy or shy and sensitive, I take the time to build trust and make them feel safe in my care. If a dog needs breaks, extra cuddles, or a simplified trim for their comfort - I’m here for it.
You’ll often hear me chatting gently to your dog throughout the appointment, using positive reinforcement, calming techniques, and a whole lot of patience. I’m fully insured and committed to ongoing learning so I can always provide the best possible service.
When I’m not grooming, I’m usually spending time with my own dogs (and no doubt finding new ways to spoil them), relaxing at home and occasionally taking my camera out for a walk when I feel inspired. I’ve always had an appreciation for photography and the calming effect of nature, even in small doses.
At home, I’m kept company by my two lovely dogs: Bailey a Bichon-Pug-Chihuahua mix with loads of personality and Parker, a sweet Miniature Dachshund we were lucky enough to find and welcome into our family. They’re both constant reminders of why I do what I do - and why I believe every dog deserves to feel safe, calm and cared for.
